DOB - Augusts 22, 1964

Born in Flin Flon, Manitoba Dean played junior in the WHL with Spokane and Kamloops Jr. Oilers as a centre. He finished second in scoring for the 1982-83 campaign with 164 points. The following season with Kamloops he registered 137 points and was selected to WHL west first all-star team. Played on the Canadian Junior National team in 1984 and for the Canadian National club in 1997. Drafted by Washington in 1982 and also played with Hartford Whalers, San Jose Sharks, Dallas Stars and Calgary Flames where he finished his NHL career in 1996 with 803 games played, 139 goals 233 assists and 372 points.
