RONALD JAMES (RON) CHIPPERFIELD

DOB - March 28, 1954

Born in Brandon, this centreman played with the MJHL champion Dauphin Kings and then went on to play another four seasons with the Brandon Wheat Kings. In his last junior season, Ron Chipperfield set a WCHL record with 90 goals and captured the league scoring title. He went on to a pro career in the WHA with the Vancouver Blazers, Calgary Cowboys and Edmonton Oilers and in the NHL with the Edmonton Oilers and Quebec Nordiques. In 452 pro games he scored 175 goals, added 201 assists, for a total of 376 career points.
