GARY GUNNAR BERGMAN

Born in Kenora, Ontario, this defenceman was with the 1959 Memorial Cup Champion Winnipeg Braves. He played 838 NHL games with Detroit Red Wings, Minnesota North Stars and Kansas City Scouts recording 68 goals, 299 assists for a total of 367 points. Gary Bergman was also a member of Team Canada in 1972 when they met the Soviet Union in the first Canada-USSR International Hockey Series (Summit Series).
