Len Thornson

Born in Winnipeg, this centreman played junior with the St. Boniface Canadiens, the 1953 Memorial Cup finalists. He had 13 pro seasons with the Fort Wayne Komets of the IHL. He was the league's alltime points leader with 1377. Len Thornson led the league in scoring eight times, was MVP seven times, with eight First and Second All-Star Teams, and lead Fort Wayne to two Turner Cup Championships.
