Church Russell

Born in Winnipeg, this left winger played with the 1943 Memorial Cup champion Winnipeg Rangers. He had three NHL seasons with the New York Rangers and three AHL seasons with the Cleveland Barons (1947-49) and Pittsburgh Hornets (1949-50). He also played pro with Vancouver Canucks in the PCHL (1950-51). He played over 300 pro games, with 74 goals, 101 assists, 175 points. Church Russell's senior career was with the Winnipeg Maroons.
