WILLIAM KENNETH (BILL) MACKENZIE

Born in Winnipeg, this defenceman was captain of the Elmwood Millionaires, the 1931 Memorial Cup champions. He played 7 seasons in the NHL and was on one Stanley Cup winner with Chicago Blackhawks in 1938. Bill MacKenzie also played for the 1941 AHL champions, the Cleveland Barons. In 1949 he coached the Brandon Wheat Kings to the Memorial Cup finals.
